I have provided sensitive counselling services for over 20 years. I pride myself on my ability to listen and really hear what is being said, as well as to become curious about what remains unspoken. I feel it is important to have clients reconnect with resources they have readily available to them, both internal and external, as well as develop new ones to live beyond the story of who they are. What may be different in a counselling session with me is the unconditional positive regard and the sense of spaciousness I creates to facilitate your movement beyond the blocks you are experiencing that prevent you from living in your full health and well being.  I also believe it is most often a collaborative approach that will work best, where you are in charge of your process and I serve as your guide.

Depending on the issue we may engage in talk therapy, education, mindfulness practices, creative processes, guided imagery, somatic practices (tapping into body wisdom) or even just working with breath to increase our comfort living in our bodies and moving forward more fully capable.

I have particular training and expertise  with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, stress management and life transitions.  With children I have expertise in issues of attachment, anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders, separation and divorce.
